One of the most important aspects I look at when reading a chart is the South Node and North Node. This tells us where we have come from and where we are going. The south node indicates the areas in our life we spend letting go of...often the area we feel defeated, yet, we keep going back to.
The North Node is the area we have to learn how to live. It is not familiar, but it is the energy that drives us forward into our future.
We begin to experience the power of our North Node after our first Saturn, it is a life long process. You will often have people come into your life that embody your North Node energy to show you how to live in it, walk in it and how to use this powerful, obsessive energy
When you look at your chart; look for what planets and houses that are conjunct your South Node; realize that this is the area that you may have had the most struggles and have had to leave behind, felt the most frustrated and had to learn to rise above.
Then, look at what planets and house conjunct your North Node. These are the areas that will empower your future, fuel your passion and set you on your ultimate path.
We often cling to our South Node energy because we are so familiar with it, but it only keeps us in a dysfunctional path to nowhere.
Learning to live out your North Node energy is a powerful journey. If you are under 35-years old, you will feel trickles of your North Node energy coming into your life, don't be afraid, it is gently guiding you across the bridge.
If you are on the other side, just know, it takes a lifetime to learn how to walk in your North Node energy, but as you embark this journey, you will finally find your purpose in this life. Release the past, and walk into your future. :))
